Founded in 2004, Wine First was first established in Sydney, Australia. As the sister company of United Cellars, Wine First had previously operated under their wings before becoming independent in 2012. Our team of dedicated professionals are based all over the world. Since our beginnings, we now operate in four continents and have established hundreds of partnerships with some of the finest wineries. Our experienced professionals share the same passion for wine and are dedicated to building strong relationships between wineries and their customers.
At Wine First, we believe that great wines should be accessible to those who share our passion for great local produce. As marketing specialists, we work with wineries and assist in selling more of their quality wines by engaging with their customers on the wineries behalf. Our highly skilled teams have extensive experience and knowledge in online marketing, telephone sales, database management and customer service. As your chosen wine concierge, we work closely with you to maximise the potential that your wineries cellar door can offer.
United Lifestyle Group (ULG) is a direct-to-consumer wholesaler and retailer with services and products in the telecommunications industry and quality wine sales industry. ULG has continued to run a growth strategy, which along with the support of a great customer base has led to the continued success of the group. Wine First is one of four companies under the United banner, alongside United Cellars, United Networks and United Global SIM. Our international company currently operates out of Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand and Sweden.
Meet the Team
With his extensive knowledge and interest in the wine industry, Anthony has successfully redefined direct-to-consumer marketing when he established Wine First. Through his diverse experiences and enthusiasm, his vision for Wine First is ever-growing and always expanding. With the United Lifestyle Group rapidly growing and now operating from all over the world, Anthony has recently moved back to his hometown Sydney where he works closely with the Sydney team.
Justine is the first contact most wineries will have with Wine First. Her Family established Tintilla Estate Wines in the Hunter Valley in 1993. She has experience with every aspect of a Wineries operations, from planting the vines, pruning, tending the vineyard, helping at vintage, to setting up the cellar door. Justine knows how important sale streams are to wineries and believes that direct to consumer is key to a wineries independence and success.
Having conquered the world of travel, David brings a lifetime of experience of managing teams to Wine First. After years as Sales Manager, David is now the Commercial Manager at Wine First Australia. With a new idea for the business every week and some Grand Designs of his own, it’s clear David’s putting off retirement into the distant future. His most memorable wine was a 1945 Lafite consumed from the bottle during a storm at sea during the Suez Crisis.
With an Advanced Certificate from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust under his belt, Adam has been a valued member of Wine First North America. Adam has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Geography (Honours) from the University of Waterloo. After a decade in geo-imaging sales in Canada and Dubai, Adam decided on a change of direction and embarked on a career in the wine industry. He has a passion for terroir-driven wines that instantly transport you to another part of the world.
Tim has more than 3 years of experience in the Wine Industry and is WSET certified making him the perfect Wine First Sales Team Leader. After more than 6 years of working as a French Chef, Tim joined our sister company United Cellars where he exceeded expectations of customers and maximised sales. He loves a good bottle (or two) of Sicilian Red and boasts an extensive background and knowledge in a large variety of wines.
